Please read the guidelines below and then visit the Journal's submission site by selecting "Submit Article" in the left-hand sidebar or clicking https://css.researchcommons.org/cgi/submit.cgi?context=journal. Please note that manuscripts not conforming to these guidelines may be returned.

Only manuscripts of sufficient quality that meet the aims and scope of Contemporary Social Sciences will be reviewed.

There are no fees payable to submit or publish in this journal.

Open Access

Contemporary Social Sciences is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. All content in this journal is distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0) License. The full details of the license are available at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/.

Peer Review

Contemporary Social Sciences strictly implements double blind peer review system. Each manuscript is preliminary reviewed by the associate editor, and then sent to two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles.

Authors will retain copyright alongside scholarly usage rights, and Editorial Department of Contemporary Social Sciences will be granted exclusive publishing rights.

Requirements for Submissions

Manuscripts must generally be prepared according to the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association. Formatting instructions for tables, figures, references, metrics, and abstracts appear in the APA Manual. Guidance on APA Style is available on the APA Style website (http://www.apastyle.org/learn/tutorials/basics-tutorial.aspx).

Include an abstract of no more than 250 words, typed on a separate page. After the abstract, please supply up to five keywords or brief phrases. Provide personal information for each author (name, position and title, degree, postal address including postcode, phone number and e-mail address).

Papers should be approximately 10,000 words including notes and references.

If you do not receive a notice of acceptance within three months after submission, feel free to submit your paper to other journals.

Our editorial department reserves the right to make corrections or deletions to manuscripts. Any such changes will be reported to you for your approval. If you do not agree with this policy, please clearly state so in your submission.

Please secure copyright independence for your submission and ensure there is no academic misconduct, like plagiarism, no dispute about the order of authors’ names, and be responsible for the content of your manuscript.
